Since 1918 the Denton Hampshire name has synonymous with the textile industry and for the last fifty years our core business has been the recycling of cotton and polycotton textiles into industrial textile wiping cloths. Each year over a thousand tons of garments and linen and other textile products that are no longer suitable for their primary purpose are converted into wipers at our mill in Ossett, West Yorkshire.

After grading, processing and packing, our products find their way to market primarily through a network of distribution partners with whom we value lasting relationships built on confidence and trust. We understand that it is in our interest that our distribution partners have a good reputation so we give them all the support they need so they can supply the user with a comprehensive range of wipers of consistently high quality.

We are a family owned and run business, large enough to react to an evolving industry but small enough to give our customers that personal touch. We’re not scientists, designers or engineers we simply supply a product for wiping stuff up or wiping stuff down, but with nearly two centuries of experience on our team we know a thing or two about textiles and their wiping qualities.
